Tasty Baked Salmon

Ingredients :
1 whole salmon fillet, about 1" thick;  1 Tbsp olive oil;  1 small onion, chopped;  3 cloves garlic, minced;
sea salt, ground black pepper; 1 Tbsp cornstarch;  3 Tbsp mayonnaise (I used Japanese mayonnaise);
1 tsp mustard powder;  1 tsp fresh lemon juice, grated Parmesan cheese or any grated cheese


Directions :
Preheat oven to 350F. Heat the olive oil over medium-high heat, sauté onion with the garlic until
tender, season with salt and black pepper. Remove from heat to cool down. Mix the mayonnaise
together with the lemon juice and mustard powder, add and mix well with the onion mixture.
Place salmon fillet on a greased baking sheet, sprinkle lightly with salt and pepper, rub the flesh 
with the cornstarch, then spread the mayonnaise mixture evenly on the salmon fillet and sprinkle the 
cheese on top. Bake 10 minutes in the oven, then turn oven to broil and cook for another minute or
until the top turns golden brown. Remove from oven to a serving plate.
