These jicama fries are tasty, crunchy and very easy to make. It can be served as a side dish,
an appetizer or just as a healthy snack.

Ingredients :
1 medium jicama, about 1 lb; 1/2 Tbsp olive oil; 1/4 tsp sea salt; 1/4 tsp onion powder, ( I used
garlic powder )
Directions :
Preheat oven to 400F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Peel and cut jicama into
1/2" thick sticks. Mix the oil, salt and onion powder together, add the jicama fries and toss to
coat. Arrange onto the baking sheet in one single layer (make sure they are not touching each
other). Bake for 15 minutes, toss or turn the fries and bake for another 10 to 15 minutes or until
the fries are crispy to touch. Remove to a serving plate, serve hot.
